My music :)

Hi there! :)

Recently I have been listening to several songs only.

ENJOY!! :D

I've "discovered" Madonna's earlier work. I can't stop listening to three of her songs. I adore them. They differ from those more contemporary ones. They are:

(Madonna - "Papa Don't Preach")

(Madonna - Rain)

and

(Madonna - The Power Of Good-Bye)

Did you enjoy them?:)

A week ago I came across a song I have never heard. It took my fancy.. It's..

(P. Diddy ft Keyshia Cole - Last night)

There is a song thanks to which I always have pleasant goose pimples, namely

(Edyta Górniak - To nie ja)

When I hear this song I automatically start dancing!:):

(Fragma - Toca's Miracle)

And there is a MIX:) But I have no idea who and WHY(?!) put here Paris Hilton..with this hamburger! :

(Fragma - Toca's Miracle 2008 Mix)

I like also

(Armin van Buuren ft Sharon den Adel - In and Out of Love)

I also adore Nelly Furtado & Timbaland:) They are great!

(Nelly Furtado - Say it Right)

(Nelly Furtado ft. Timbaland - Promiscuous)

Did you like it? :DD I hope YES!!!

DREZDENKO

My hometown - DREZDENKO:)

Usually, when I mention the name of my hometown people say something like: "Hmm... Yeeees... And where is it? " or "What?! Could you repeat that, please?" Yeah... And I give its location. It's the easiest way...

But if you want to know more (and I know that you want;D )...

ENJOY!!! :)

Drezdenko is a small town in Lubuskie. It's about 40 km east of Gorzów Wielkopolski. The river that flows through Drezdenko is Noteć (it's not like Wisła or Warta but still;D ). My hometown is situated in the Noteć forest. That's why forests constitute about 75% of the surface of Drezdenko district. I must say that the area near Drezdenko is REALLY beautiful. It's because of all those wooden areas, as well as, many lakes.

The place I associate with my childhood is Zagórze (it's near my town). I spent there two weeks of my summer holidays every year. It was great!!!

Look at those beautiful views!

I love this photo!

Do you hear it?
No?
It's called silence...

I associate Zagórze with fishing.
The man in the picture that's my dad:) He's a keen angler.

Memories..ooh yes;)

Have you ever gone canoeing?
NO?!
You have to try it in Noteć forest!
You won't regret it!:) I don't!
It was fantastic!
Just look...

As I've already mentioned Drezdenko is a small town. It has a population of 12000. It has only 10,74 square kilometres. There aren't any shopping centers in my lovely hometown but...who cares!
I can always go to Stary Browar or Plaza in Poznań, or to Galeria Askana in Gorzów Wielkopolski.

Drezdenko got the title of
"Krajowy Mistrz Gospodarności". Even twice! It was in 1967 and 1976. Nowadays it wouldn't get it because of, for example, the high unemployment. Unfortunatelly...;(

Drezdenko's license plates are FSD. Do you know what it stands for? It stands for "Fabryka Samochodów Drezdenko";). I agree with it, and my friends as well. In my hometown many people are dealing in cars. I've heard that even people from the eastern Poland come to Drezdenko to buy cars. It's an interesting fact.

From the very beginning of its existence Drezdenko had different names. In historical documents we can come across such names as
"Drizina", "Drecen", "Driesen", "Dersen", "Droczen", "Dirzen", "Drezen", "Dirczen", "Drczen", "Drdzen". The most well-known names are, however, "Drzeń" or "Drżeń". Contemporary name was based on German name "Driesen". I have the impression that all those names create something like a tongue-twister. Don't you think?:DDD

I associate Drezdenko with my education - schools, friends, teachers...

The building of the elementary school and then the junior high school I attended is in reality a baroque palace dating from the 18th century (exactly 1766)! It has an intersting history. I must say that it's beautiful. I liked this place a lot. It was a real pleasure to learn in such a place!:)

Inside...

My high school, on the other hand, was a totally new building...

There are some other historic buildings like, for instance,..

Neo-Gothic church dedicated to the Transfiguration(1896-1902)

Neo-Gothic town hall (1884)

A water tower

Museum - I can't even count the number of times I have visited this place:)

You may say: "Drezdenko? Nothing interesting". Maybe... But for me it's a place where I was born; a place where I was growing up. It's obvious that now I spend much more time in Poznań than in Drezdenko. When I was younger and staying all the time only in Drezdenko I thought that it's such an extremely boring place where completely nothing is going on. But now, when I'm a little bit older, I appreciate Drezdenko. Sometimes I even miss it (especially when I'm waiting for a bus or tram -> in Drezdenko there are no buses and no trams; you can get everywhere on foot;D ). When I'm at home I can have a rest - it's not as noisily as in Poznań. I often repeat: "It's great in Drezdenko!" ;D

Scotland

Hello! :)

Have you ever been to Scotland?

I was there during my summer holidays in 2005 and since then I adore this beautiful place.
I would like to go there one more time.

If you think that there is nothing interesting in Scottish Highlands you are wrong... I know, you may have this image in your head -> hill, hill (oooh!;) ) another hill and somewhere a river... It seems to be like this but I hope you will change your mind after watching my photos...

Enjoy! :)

Just look at those 'ordinary' hills!

Aren't they lovely?

Aren't they mysterious?

such a creek + the swoosh of the water = pleasure
Don't you think?

Harmony...

You can come across many animals. They are free.
(I don't know why but I love this photo.)

"Look at me! I'm so cute!" ;)

Find me! ;D

There were many fabulous views but THOSE were breathtaking!

Walking in the clouds - unforgettable!

So, do you want to visit Scotland? -> YES!!! ;)

CZARUŚ :)

Hi!

I would like to introduce my CRAZY pet to you...

His name is Czaruś (because at the very beginning he was very charming) but now we (my flatmates and me) prefer calling him 'Cat!', 'Don't!' or 'Stop it!'. We call him this way because we always find him in the most inappropriate places like, for instance, on the top of our leather door -> the owner probably won't be very happy about it...

It happens that we also find him in our cupboards, wardrobes and broom cupboard. Sometimes we find Czarek on the drainer or staircase and we have no idea how he got there...

Czarek's best snacks are our clothes like, for instance, my sweater (in which I've recently found a huge hole), my flatmate's house slippers, or wires of all kinds.

Sometimes I think that 'Stop it!' has some problems with identifying his species. Is he a dog inside?! Who knows...;)

But it also sometimes happens that he pretends to be a really cute creature... :)
